Currently I am a graduate student in Department of Kinesiology and a
member of ANS center at ASU. My background was about thermodynamics and
heat transfer work. But I was interested in using the mathematical model
to interpret the mechanical phenomenon.
Now I am under supervision with Dr. Jindrich focusing on the stability issues
in movement frequently encountered by human beings. How an individual tries to
maintain his posture from falling is a traditionally frequently asked question.
This work is interesting since it is the most universal movement encountered
by every one. We try to see the underlying mechanism and apply it into the aspects
of injury prevention and rehabilitation.
I am also interested in the field of neuroscience
although I am a novice. How people can regain the function from severe
trauma in spine is an area of accumulating interests. |
