Arizona Paralympic Academy and Disability Sports Expo is an annual one-day event hosted by St. Joseph’s Hospital Recreation Therapy Department, Arizona Paralympic Academy and MASD. The event includes informational vendor booths, adaptive sports and recreation instruction and live demonstration of sports for people with physical disabilities. The event is open to the public to stop by any time throughout the day to educate themselves about sports and recreation opportunities available to people with physical disabilities.

October 2006
Research by John Jolly, our Bioemechanics Engineer, on the importance of physical exercise and conditoning for improving Golf Swings made the cover article of the October 2006 issue of the online journal Biomechanics. The work  was conducted over the last few years by John at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
